This place rocks! Great food, great atmosphere, and great people. I will go back for sure.
Excellent food served by friendly staff. Try the seafood dish, and be sure to save room for the homemade desserts.
The wait and kitchen staff did a great job getting our party (10) fed and out in time to catch the last boat off the island. The food was good and the helpings were ample. Well worth a stop!
Note: Technically the day time business is run separately as the Ebb & Thyme. The Slow Bell Cafe is onlyn open for dinner and bar after 5. (At least as of the 2016 season.)
Stopped in for lunch on a visit to the island Saturday, July 16, 2016. It was the only alternative to the Inn for lunch. Compared to the Inn, which offers expensive dining with a water view, the Slow Bell serves simple sandwiches and has a country store vibe. I got the tarragon chicken salad sandwich and a scone to go.
